Artistic Guitars is proud to present this very fine 1996 Benedetto Manhattan that was “artist-owned”. This 17” lower bout Benedetto Manhattan was hand made in Stroudsburg, PA by Bob. It is finished in a nice faded Patina Nitrocellulose Lacquer light sunburst and is in overall excellent condition. It has a carved European spruce top, maple sides and arched back, and a 1-piece maple neck as it should be. The cream-bound 21-fret ebony fingerboard is without inlays, has a 1-3/4'' nut width, and a 25-1/4'' scale. The Benedetto mini humbucking pickup is mounted to the ebony pickguard. There is also an ebony adjustable bridge and Bob’s Ebony tailpiece. The body front and back has cream 3B/W binding, the fingerboard and headstock 2B/W binding, and the sides and F-holes B/W binding. The ebony headstock has Bob’s logo inlay in Mother of pearl. The guitar has black Schaller tuners with ebony buttons, and is signed ''Robert Benedetto'' and “For Rene L Toledo” inside on label, #38796. for Rene Toledo. Rene has over 200 albums to his credit and has played with everyone from Santana to Shakira. This beauty has really nice tone, and plays great. Includes original clothbound hardshell case in good condition.
